Senior Planner — Role Overview
This is a hands-on leadership role driving programme delivery across the full project lifecycle. You will own master construction schedules, represent the project in client meetings, and build a high-performing planning team in one of Europe's fastest-growing data centre markets.
Senior Planner — Responsibilities
• Develop bid programmes and detailed master construction schedules to support winning and delivering major data centre projects
• Create and maintain integrated programmes covering pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases with accurate progress reporting
• Represent the project as Planning Lead in all client and subcontractor meetings
• Prepare and present progress reviews to senior management, identifying risks and driving proactive problem-solving
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of planning engineers
• Manage key client relationships and contribute to business development with new accounts
• Establish and maintain project controls procedures aligned with Tier-1 contractor standards
• Take complete ownership of your projects while supporting colleagues across the portfolio
Senior Planner — Ideal Candidate
Essential:
• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum 5 years' planning experience in construction, preferably with main contractor exposure
• Proficient in Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera P6
• Proven experience with BIM-enabled planning workflows
• Demonstrable track record in large-scale project environments
Desirable:
• Data centre or mission-critical infrastructure experience
• Previous team leadership or mentoring experience
• Finnish or Scandinavian market knowledge
