Senior Mechanical Engineer 01 — Role Overview

This position drives the mechanical systems package from design through commissioning on a large-scale data centre build. You will coordinate across consultants, subcontractors and client stakeholders to ensure technical excellence and programme delivery.

Senior Mechanical Engineer 01 — Responsibilities

• Manage the mechanical systems package through design, installation, testing and commissioning phases
• Review and coordinate design drawings, specifications and submittals with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
• Monitor site works to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards and safety regulations
• Manage project schedules, track progress and identify potential risks or delays
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and updates for internal and client meetings
• Oversee subcontractor performance including manpower planning and schedule adherence
• Implement QHSE standards across all mechanical activities
• Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are met
• Develop and coordinate commissioning schedules with other disciplines, subcontractors, client vendors and the Cx team
• Lead project close-out including testing, commissioning, snagging and handover documentation

Senior Mechanical Engineer 01 — Ideal Candidate

Essential:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5+ years' experience as Mechanical Engineer on large-scale projects
• Proven data centre, pharmaceutical or industrial project experience
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems in design & build environments
• Knowledge of health & safety standards and construction regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Revit

Desirable:
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong collaborative skills
• Ability to perform in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
