OFCI Package Manager — Role Overview

This is a pivotal technical leadership position managing Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment packages from procurement through commissioning. You will bridge client vendors and construction execution, ensuring seamless integration of complex M&E systems within a live data centre programme.

OFCI Package Manager — Responsibilities

  • Lead all technical and process aspects of OFCI equipment packages as the primary interface between client-appointed vendors and project stakeholders
  • Manage the OFCI engineering team to deliver works compliant with specifications, schedule, and quality standards
  • Oversee complete package lifecycle from procurement through delivery, installation, and commissioning
  • Drive integration of OFCI works with the overall construction programme
  • Coordinate with engineering, planning, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Chair regular progress meetings with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain communication
  • Track OFCI progress, identify risks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies
  • Provide technical oversight to prevent or resolve contractual and operational disputes

OFCI Package Manager — Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years' experience with an M&E contractor, ideally on mission-critical or large-scale projects
  • Proven track record leading complex projects from design through commissioning

  • Proficient in engineering systems software and project management tools
