OFCI Manager — Role Overview

The OFCI Manager serves as the technical and commercial bridge between the client, their appointed equipment vendors, and the construction delivery team. You will own the full lifecycle of client-furnished electrical packages—from engineering coordination through installation and commissioning—ensuring seamless integration with the wider project programme.

OFCI Manager — Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery, coordination, and installation of owner-furnished electrical equipment across the construction lifecycle
• Serve as primary point of contact between the client, project stakeholders, and OFCI vendors
• Manage the OFCI team to ensure all works are engineered, planned, and installed to project requirements
• Lead weekly coordination meetings with client, vendors, and key stakeholders
• Drive engineering, programme, and commissioning alignment through proactive stakeholder liaison
• Ensure all vendor equipment is fully coordinated with construction requirements and master programme
• Report on OFCI package progress, escalating issues and risks for timely mitigation
• Provide contract oversight, technical guidance, and dispute resolution support
• Maintain strict client security and confidentiality protocols at all times

OFCI Manager — Ideal Candidate

Essential:
• 8+ years' experience with an M&E Contractor
• Qualified Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated experience on large-scale construction projects
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making capabilities
• Proficiency in engineering systems and project management software

Desirable:
• Previous OFCI/owner-supplied equipment management experience
• Data centre or mission-critical facility exposure
• International project experience in Nordic or European markets
