Logistics Supervisor — Role Overview
You will oversee daily logistics operations across the site compound, ensuring seamless material flows to support construction milestones. This is a hands-on supervisory position where your coordination directly impacts project delivery.
Logistics Supervisor — Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily operations within the site compound and storage areas
• Coordinate with subcontractors for timely, safe delivery of materials to and from site
• Ensure all site deliveries follow established procedures through the system
• Monitor and guide traffic movements on site to prevent congestion and safety risks
• Enforce site access protocols and ensure loading/unloading in designated areas
• Support the Logistics Manager in delivery scheduling and maintaining delivery logs and material records
• Attend logistics meetings and relay key information to operatives and subcontractors
• Supervise logistics operatives and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures
• Report delivery, storage, or traffic issues promptly with actionable solutions
• Maintain accurate labour tracking and assist with daily work reporting
Logistics Supervisor — Ideal Candidate
Essential:
• Experience in a logistics role on large-scale construction projects
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple deliveries and subcontractors daily
• Solid understanding of large-scale construction sites and Health & Safety regulations
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
• AP Crane certification
• Temporary Works certification
