Electrical Project Manager — Role Overview
This position drives electrical project delivery from design coordination through final installation. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure safe, productive, and profitable project execution in a fast-paced construction environment.
Electrical Project Manager — Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate all electrical construction activities from design through installation completion
• Drive productivity by implementing weekly and daily work plans with direct foreman collaboration
• Coordinate design work with internal teams, BIM specialists, and subcontractors to ensure buildability
• Supervise ongoing work progress and enforce Quality and Safety standards across all operations
• Monitor labour tracking, procurement schedules, and 4-6 week labour look-ahead planning
• Engage directly with client stakeholders and lead weekly project meetings with safety, QA, and BIM representatives
• Manage commercial risk by identifying delays, disruptions, and variations for claims preparation
• Oversee and sign off all project documentation including incident reports, schedule updates, and weekly foreman reports
• Coordinate material procurement with 2-4 week look-ahead, flagging long-lead items and supply chain issues
• Ensure all meeting actions are recorded, assigned, and closed out before subsequent sessions
Electrical Project Manager — Ideal Candidate
Essential:
• 10 years' experience delivering large-scale electrical projects (office fitouts, retail, hotels, schools, data centres)
• Proven track record managing large contracts with direct team leadership responsibility
• Trade qualification or engineering background
• Advanced planning capability with strong organisational, communication, and time management skills
Desirable:
• Data centre construction experience
• Experience working in Nordic or international construction markets
