CSA Package Manager — Role Overview
This position places you at the centre of site operations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams including subcontractors, planners, engineers, and architects. You will drive schedule adherence, quality assurance, and commercial performance across the CSA scope while maintaining direct accountability for day-to-day delivery.
CSA Package Manager — Responsibilities
You will:
• Manage the full coordination of Civil and Structural work packages from planning through to handover
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and direct subcontractor activities, tracking progress against programme and manpower levels
• Chair weekly subcontractor meetings and commercial reviews to capture variations and ensure accurate cost reporting
• Maintain site QA processes in conjunction with the project team, ensuring all safety and technical documentation is current and filed
• Drive project schedule management alongside planners, project managers, subcontractors, and consulting engineers/architects
• Attend and contribute to site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning sessions, and handover meetings
• Prioritise and coordinate design information flow with the design team and project coordinator to meet construction schedules
• Review drawings, setting-out details, and ensure builders' works for services are properly incorporated
• Identify, distribute, and close out CSA snags with methodical problem-solving
• Issue regular progress reports to the project leadership team
CSA Package Manager — Ideal Candidate
Essential
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years' CSA industry experience with proven background managing civil and structural packages
• Demonstrable experience delivering large-scale construction projects
• Strong scheduling, programming, and sequencing capabilities
• Proven team management and leadership experience
• Methodical approach with excellent problem-solving skills to resolve design and development issues
Desirable
• Data centre or mission-critical facility experience
• International project exposure
