CSA Package Manager — Role Overview

As CSA Package Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating architectural work packages, managing site safety and QA, and ensuring the project adheres to schedule and specifications. Your contributions will be vital to the successful delivery of this project.

CSA Package Manager — Responsibilities

As CSA Package Manager, you will:

  • Manage the coordination of architectural work packages.
  • Manage site safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and Safety Advisor.
  • Manage site QA in conjunction with the Project Manager and team.
  • Manage the project schedule in conjunction with the Planner, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors, and consulting Engineer/Architect.
  • Manage all aspects associated with the project with the support of the project QS, including labour, material, plant and equipment, variations, and valuations.
  • Manage all day-to-day site operations.
  • Support engineering requirements through managing and liaising with key project stakeholders.
  • Ensure works are installed in accordance with project specifications and the project QA plan.
  • Assist the Installation Package team to manage the quality needs for the project on site.
  • Schedule material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule and track deliveries.
  • Oversee the coordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings.
  • Manage subcontractor activities, including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
  • Ensure all subcontractor documentation, including safety documentation, is maintained and up to date.
  • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
  • Close out all project deliverables, including Final Account, O&M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, and Project Plan.
  • Issue regular reports to the Project Manager, highlighting progress and any concerns.
  • Prepare sub-contract and supplier tender packages in conjunction with project QS.
  • Assess sub-contract and supplier tender returns for technical compliance with design intent specifications.
  • Hold weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are captured and costs are issued to the client.
  • Develop and implement company procedures with the project managers.
  • Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
  • Review drawings and setting out details.
  • Produce builders works drawings for services.
  • Maintain a weekly project photographic diary.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed closely.
  • Carry out, distribute, and close out CSA snags.

CSA Package Manager — Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years’ experience working with a recognised contractor
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in use of systems software related to Engineering functions
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Familiar with Project /Primavera planning software and CAD/BIM process
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Knowledge of modularisation
