This CSA Manager role is crucial for coordinating architectural work packages on internal fit-out projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects adhere to specifications, schedules, and quality standards.

CSA Manager (Fit Outs) — Responsibilities

As CSA Manager, you will:

  • Manage the coordination of architectural work packages.
  • Manage site safety and QA in conjunction with the Project Manager and team.
  • Manage the project schedule in conjunction with the Planner, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors and consulting Engineer/Architect.
  • Manage all aspects associated with the project with the support of the project QS, including labor, material, plant and equipment, variations, and valuations.
  • Manage day-to-day site operations.
  • Support engineering requirements through managing and liaising with key project stakeholders (client design team, main contractor, suppliers, subcontractors).
  • Ensure works are installed in accordance with project specifications and the project QA plan.
  • Assist the Installation Package team to manage quality needs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards/codes and specifications.
  • Schedule material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule; track deliveries; manage material procurement utilizing Engineering Materials Report (EMR).
  • Familiarize yourself with Design/IFC specifications and drawings to understand the scope of the project works; oversee the coordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings.
  • Manage subcontractor activities, including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels.
  • Ensure all subcontractor documentation, including safety documentation, is maintained and filed.
  • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
  • Close out all project deliverables including Final Account, O&M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan.
  • Issue regular reports to the Project Manager highlighting progress and concerns.
  • Issue external weekly progress reports, highlighting delays and issues.
  • Issue weekly safety stats and project labor projections.
  • Prepare subcontract and supplier tender packages in conjunction with project QS.
  • Assess subcontract and supplier tender returns for technical compliance.
  • Hold weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are captured.
  • Develop and implement company procedures with project managers.
  • Ensure change management is handled correctly (cost and programme).
  • Review drawings and setting out details.
  • Produce builders works drawings for services.
  • Maintain a weekly project photographic diary.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Carry out, distribute, and close out CSA snags; manage the snagging system.

CSA Manager (Fit Outs) — Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years’ experience working with a recognised contractor
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in use of systems software related to Engineering functions
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Familiarity with Project /Primavera planning software and CAD/BIM process
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Knowledge of modularisation
