As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will ensure all project aspects are price-agreed to achieve acceptable returns for the company. You will maintain a clear audit trail to support payment and claim submissions, contributing to overall project financial success.
Senior Quantity Surveyor — Responsibilities
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Review and understand project contract documentation.
- Prepare and analyze supplier and subcontractor inquiries.
- Prepare and issue contract documents to the supply chain.
- Monitor changes in scope and price variations.
- Prepare and agree on monthly progress applications.
- Manage financial and contractual control of subcontractor accounts.
- Issue contractual notices and evaluate loss and expense/acceleration claims.
- Provide accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates.
- Prepare monthly commercial project reports.
- Manage and forecast project cash flows.
- Liaise with the client, main contractor, and other departments.
Senior Quantity Surveyor — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.
- A comprehensive understanding of work contracts.
- A working knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical Work Packages.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Proven negotiation skills at a professional level.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
