Senior Planner — Role Overview
This Senior Planner role is crucial for developing and maintaining project schedules across various phases, from pre-construction to commissioning. You will contribute to ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, working closely with project management and subcontractors.
Senior Planner — Responsibilities
As Senior Planner, you will:
- Develop and maintain schedules for pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Develop and maintain progress databases and provide progress reporting.
- Perform milestone projections and delay/float path analysis.
- Implement and manage Earned Value Management (EVM) systems.
- Monitor schedule performance and productivity, auditing progress on site.
- Attend schedule meetings and liaise with clients and subcontractors.
- Prepare tender schedules and histograms.
- Support weekly workface planning systems and resource/cash loading of schedules.
- Provide data for payment applications and complete contract review reports.
- Record delays and disruptions and assist in the preparation of claims.
Senior Planner — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
Essential:
- High-level competence in Primavera P6
- Construction background
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in planning
- Thorough understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Excel competence to a high level
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Good communication skills
Desirable:
- 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector
