Senior EHS Advisor — Responsibilities
As Senior EHS Advisor, you will:
- Implement and maintain EHS management systems for all projects.
- Adhere to project and company safety management systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Environmental, Health & Safety legislation.
- Coordinate the development of task-specific method statements, risk assessments, and permit to work.
- Carry out regular site audits and inspections, document reports, and establish corrective actions.
- Attend site meetings, report on EHS risks, and recommend improvements.
- Provide EHS advice and guidance to management, safety representatives, and employees.
- Ensure project subcontractors adhere to project EHS policies and procedures.
- Assist with accident investigations and ensure timely reporting.
- Maintain waste reduction and recycling programmes.
Senior EHS Advisor — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant third-level Certificate qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety.
- Minimum 3 years of site experience.
- Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health, and safety legislation.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility in working patterns.
