Quality Manager — Role Overview
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to the quality assurance of a significant MEP and CSA project. You will assist in implementing and maintaining quality plans, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
Quality Manager — Responsibilities
As a Quality Manager Intern, you will:
- Assist in setting up and implementing necessary quality procedures, controls, and systems on site.
- Support the development of quality plans, manuals, documents, and systems.
- Review specifications to identify inspection and test requirements, assisting in the development of Project inspection and test plans.
- Help train project personnel in the contractor's Project QA/QC plan.
- Assist with audits and advise on QA issues.
- Gather and analyze feedback to provide recommendations for quality improvements.
- Ensure all quality systems are accessible and that users know how to find them.
Quality Manager — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A clear understanding of the delivery of high-quality construction projects.
- Strong communication skills.
- Relevant IT experience.
- A primary or master’s degree in QA/QC or an equivalent discipline (or demonstrable experience).
- Experience working as part of a project team.
