Quality Manager — Role Overview
This pivotal role will ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of quality standards across diverse projects. The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing and executing quality plans, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
Quality Manager — Responsibilities
As Quality Manager, you will:
- Manage, implement, and maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 14001.
- Develop quality plans, manuals, documents, and systems.
- Review specifications to identify inspection and test requirements and develop project inspection and test plans.
- Train project personnel in the contractor's project QA/QC plan.
- Collaborate with the client to ensure successful submission, approval, and implementation of quality standards and procedures.
- Complete audits and advise management on QA issues.
- Ensure documentation and certification are complete and checked prior to handover.
- Attend and coordinate weekly meetings with the client, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Review and revise documentation to incorporate changes to company policies and objectives (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001).
- Standardize and integrate QA/QC procedures into the company QA/QC manual.
- Review vendor/subcontractor documentation.
- Conduct off-site factory/prefabrication audits (source inspection).
- Utilize SAP, Eida, Procore, BIM 360 Field, and other software management systems.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on project events or issues.
Quality Manager — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant Third Level or Professional Qualification
- Ability to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Excellent work and personal ethics that include trustworthiness, commitment, and empathy
- Confident, creative, and energetic approach to addressing all quality-related issues
- Ability to produce quality written reports
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Experience with Quality Management on previous data centre projects (beneficial).
