Pump Engineer — Role Overview

This Pump Engineer role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of fire protection systems. You will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire pumps and related equipment on various project sites.

Pump Engineer — Responsibilities

As a Pump Engineer, you will:

  • Service fire pumps and drivers.
  • Troubleshoot issues in Fire Water Pump Rooms.
  • Drain and refill sprinkler systems.

  • Plan and work from sprinkler drawings.

Pump Engineer — Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess:

*Safe Pass / Manual Handling certification

  • National Craft Certificate
  • Experienced sprinkler pipefitter background
  • Knowledge of all types of sprinkler systems
  • Knowledge in LPC and FM sprinkler rules
  • Full driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside of normal hours
