Project Planner — Responsibilities
• Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral)
• Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP
• Reporting to Planning Department
• Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management
• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning
• Developing and maintaining progress databases
• Progress reporting
• Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis
• Earned Value Management systems
• Monitoring schedule performance and productivity
• Auditing progress on site
• Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors
• Preparation of tender schedules
• Preparation of histograms
• Leading planning meetings
• Supporting weekly workface planning systems
• Resource / cash loading of schedules
• Providing data for payment applications
• Completing contract review reports
• Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports
• Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions
• Recording delay and disruption
• Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes
• Travelling to projects in order to carry out the above, if required
• Training staff, if required
• Covering Senior Project Planner responsibilities when required
• All other duties associated with role

• Ability to carry out the roles and responsibilities as defined above
• Background in construction-related degree or trade
• 5+ years’ experience in Project Planning of large construction projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent IT and software skills (including Oracle P6 and Excel)
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team
• Proven ability to work within strict deadlines
• Knowledge of and commitment to Health & Safety
• Verantwoordelijk voor een project of een portfolio van projecten (regionaal/sectoraal)
• Verantwoordelijk voor alle aspecten van de planning, zoals gedefinieerd in de standaardwerkprocedures voor planning.
• Rapporterend aan de afdeling Planning
• Rapporterend aan de bedrijfsunit/het projectmanagement.
• Het ontwikkelen en bijhouden van planningen voor de voorbereidingsfase, de bouwfase en de inbedrijfstelling.
• Het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van voortgangsdatabases.
• Voortgangsrapportage
• Mijlpaalprognoses, vertragings-/spelinganalyse
• Earned Value Management-systemen
• Het monitoren van de planning en productiviteit.
• Controle van de voortgang op locatie
• Het bijwonen van planningsvergaderingen, het onderhouden van contact met de klant en onderaannemers.
• Opstellen van aanbestedingsschema's
• Voorbereiding van histogrammen
• Het leiden van planningsvergaderingen
• Ondersteuning van wekelijkse werkplanningssystemen
• Resource-/geldinput van planningen
• Het verstrekken van gegevens voor betalingsaanvragen
• Het afronden van contractbeoordelingsrapporten
• Verantwoordelijkheid voor de kwaliteit en nauwkeurigheid van planningen en rapporten.
• Betrokken partijen op de hoogte stellen van problemen en adviseren over oplossingen.
• Vertraging en verstoring tijdens de opname
• Assisteren bij de voorbereiding van claims en het verstrekken van gegevens voor contractuele geschillen.
• Reizen naar projecten om bovenstaande taken uit te voeren, indien nodig.
• Het opleiden van personeel, indien nodig.
• Het overnemen van taken van de Senior Projectplanner wanneer nodig.
• Alle overige taken die bij de functie horen.
• Vermogen om de hierboven omschreven rollen en verantwoordelijkheden uit te voeren.
• Achtergrond in een bouwgerelateerde opleiding of beroepsopleiding.
• Meer dan 5 jaar ervaring in projectplanning van grote bouwprojecten.
• Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden
• Uitstekende IT- en softwarevaardigheden (waaronder Oracle P6 en Excel).
• Bewezen vermogen om effectief in een team te werken.
• Bewezen vermogen om te werken onder strakke deadlines.
• Kennis van en toewijding aan gezondheid en veiligheid
