Project Manager — Role Overview
This Project Manager role is crucial for the successful delivery of electrical and mechanical systems packages. You will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring safety and quality, and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet project schedules and budgets.
Project Manager — Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will:
- Manage electrical and mechanical systems packages.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations.
- Manage site safety in conjunction with the Director of Field Operations and the Safety Advisor.
- Drive a focused Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental culture within your team.
- Manage Site QA in conjunction with the QA Manager.
- Manage the project schedule in conjunction with the Project Manager, consulting Engineer and Client requirements.
- Manage all costs associated with your packages, including the Electrical Team, Mechanical Team, Sub-contractors, Material deliveries, Plant and Equipment, Variations, and Valuations.
- Manage sub-contractor activities, tracking progress and manpower levels.
- Ensure all Sub-contractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.
- Liaise with and maintain strong relationships with the client team.
- Review design in conjunction with the team.
- Oversee coordination of works between the various M&E scope items & ensure alignment with overall site works.
- Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
Project Manager — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A trade and/or relevant third level qualification
- Minimum 8 years previous experience in Project Management
- PC literacy with strong competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to liaise with various support functions
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Pride in the quality and presentation of work
- Excellent communication skills in both Spanish & English
