MEP Lead — Role Overview

This pivotal role drives the technical and operational success of large-scale data centre MEP systems. You will direct design coordination, construction execution, and commissioning handover while building high-performing project teams in a market seeing unprecedented investment.

MEP Lead — Responsibilities

You will:

• Lead and coordinate all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services across design, construction, and commissioning phases
• Direct and develop the MEP project team, including subcontractors, engineers, and site supervisors
• Oversee technical reviews, quality assurance checks, and comprehensive progress reporting
• Ensure full compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and construction procedures
• Drive client and consultant relationships, maintaining alignment across all project stakeholders
• Review and approve MEP design documentation, technical submittals, and method statements
• Proactively identify and resolve design and construction issues to protect programme delivery
• Manage commissioning readiness and execute seamless system handover
• Support project planning, resource forecasting, and milestone tracking

MEP Lead — Ideal Candidate

Essential
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
• 10+ years' experience in large-scale construction or data centre projects with strong MEP focus
• Demonstrated leadership managing multi-disciplinary technical teams
• Deep understanding of design coordination, MEP systems, and installation methodologies

Desirable
• Direct experience with data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects
