MEP Lead (1225) — Role Overview

This role places you at the heart of a complex data centre build, leading the mechanical and electrical engineering function from site. You will drive technical excellence, commercial efficiency, and team performance through the construction phase.

MEP Lead (1225) — Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers through the construction phase
• Propose design changes to improve cost efficiency, accelerate programme delivery, and enhance final specification and quality
• Monitor construction quality of workmanship and materials against project standards
• Coordinate with contracts managers, site engineers, and discipline leads to ensure subcontractors and site personnel receive timely, accurate information
• Review and verify understanding of drawings and specifications; formally communicate errors or omissions to the design team without delay
• Establish project resource requirements and motivate the MEP project team to achieve targets
• Maintain the highest standards of health and safety across all MEP activities
• Demonstrate commercial awareness in all technical and operational decisions
