Mechanical Project Manager — Role Overview

This is a hands-on leadership position driving mechanical delivery across complex data centre MEP installations. You will direct multidisciplinary teams, optimise design for constructability, and ensure programme-critical handovers in a high-pace environment.

Mechanical Project Manager — Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Mechanical Engineers across all project phases
• Propose design modifications to improve cost efficiency, accelerate construction programmes, and enhance final specification and quality
• Monitor construction quality of workmanship and materials against specifications
• Coordinate with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and discipline leads to ensure subcontractors and site personnel receive timely, accurate information
• Review drawings and specifications, formally communicating errors or omissions to the design team without delay
• Establish project resource requirements and drive team performance
• Uphold highest standards of health and safety across all mechanical operations
• Display commercial astuteness in procurement and programme decisions

Mechanical Project Manager — Ideal Candidate

Essential:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience leading MEP teams effectively
• Proven track record delivering Data Centre MEP projects
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes
• Experience in scheduling, programming and sequencing construction works
