Mechanical Assessor & Trainer — Role Overview

This role is crucial for ensuring the competence of pipefitters on critical projects. The successful candidate will assess candidates, audit project setups, and optimize efficiency on construction sites.

Mechanical Assessor & Trainer — Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with recruitment agencies to assess mechanical candidates.
  • Conducting practical and theoretical trade tests for pipe fitters.
  • Evaluating technical competence in pipefitting and associated mechanical skills.
  • Reviewing and auditing project site setups for productivity and compliance.
  • Identifying gaps in labour, equipment, materials, and project plans.
  • Liaising with project managers and supervisors to implement corrective actions.

Mechanical Assessor & Trainer — Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience in pipefitting and mechanical systems within industrial projects.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of semiconductor & Pharmaceutical systems, tools, equipment, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A clean driving license.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of Orbital Welding and High Purity Systems.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to adjust to different training approaches.
  • Strong organisational and auditing skills.
  • Ability to travel.
