• As part of an established team of professionals the successful candidate will be involved in the production of competitive tenders / detailed estimates for pre-design or D&B projects
• Attending pre-& post tender interviews
• Complying specialist sub-contract quotes
• Ensuring sub-contractor quotes comply with specification
• Completing take-offs from tender drawings and labour rates
• Work closely with site Project Managers and Suppliers
• All other duties associated with this role
ICT Estimator — Ideal Candidate
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Understand methods of measurement and the concept of cost/valuation reconciliations
• Computer literacy in relevant estimating packages
• Full training will be given as a part of Estimation course arranged in the company.
• Would really suit competent trades person wishing to move to office-based role
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
• A construction background, electrical and/ or ICT industry
