Graduate Planner — Role Overview

This internship provides an opportunity to develop essential planning skills within a fast-paced construction environment. You will contribute to project success through schedule development, progress tracking, and data analysis.

Graduate Planner — Responsibilities

As a Graduate Planner, you will:

  • Develop and maintain engineering, construction, and commissioning schedules.
  • Create and manage micro schedules.
  • Develop and maintain progress databases.
  • Update schedule progress, gathering data from various sources.
  • Prepare progress reports and milestone projections.
  • Conduct delay and float path analysis.
  • Perform earned value analysis.
  • Verify site progress.
  • Attend schedule meetings and liaise with clients and subcontractors.
  • Prepare tender schedules, histograms, and resource/cash-loaded schedules.
  • Provide data for payment applications and complete contract review reports.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.

Graduate Planner — Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • Ideally a 2:1 Honours Degree / Expected 2:1
  • Level 8 or relevant bachelor’s degree
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Adaptable and solutions-driven
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Pride in the quality and presentation of work
  • Good organization & co-ordination skills
  • Flexible to travel
  • Enthusiastic and energetic

Desirable:

  • Experience in the Construction Industry or Trade Background
