Graduate Mechanical Engineer — Role Overview
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge construction projects. You will support experienced engineers and gain exposure to all phases of project execution.
Graduate Mechanical Engineer — Responsibilities
As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will:
- Coordinate with site teams
- Attend daily/weekly meetings as required
- Prepare reports and presentations
- Assist Intermediate and Senior Engineers
- Ensure design complies with project specifications
- Prepare technical submittals in accordance with project specifications and procurement schedule
- Ensure materials/plant ordered are approved and in compliance with specification
- Work with BIM to develop construction plans and work packages
Graduate Mechanical Engineer — Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- Ideally, a 2:1 Honours Degree (or expected)
- Level 8 or relevant bachelor’s degree
- Good communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Adaptable and solutions-driven
- Able to work in a team environment
- Pride in the quality and presentation of work
- Good organisation & co-ordination skills
- Flexible to travel
- Enthusiastic and energetic
Desirable:
- Experience in the Construction Industry or Trade Background
