Graduate Mechanical Engineer — Role Overview

This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge construction projects. You will support experienced engineers and gain exposure to all phases of project execution.

Graduate Mechanical Engineer — Responsibilities

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will:

  • Coordinate with site teams
  • Attend daily/weekly meetings as required
  • Prepare reports and presentations
  • Assist Intermediate and Senior Engineers
  • Ensure design complies with project specifications
  • Prepare technical submittals in accordance with project specifications and procurement schedule
  • Ensure materials/plant ordered are approved and in compliance with specification
  • Work with BIM to develop construction plans and work packages

Graduate Mechanical Engineer — Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • Ideally, a 2:1 Honours Degree (or expected)
  • Level 8 or relevant bachelor’s degree
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Adaptable and solutions-driven
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Pride in the quality and presentation of work
  • Good organisation & co-ordination skills
  • Flexible to travel
  • Enthusiastic and energetic

Desirable:

  • Experience in the Construction Industry or Trade Background
