Graduate Electrical Engineer — Role Overview

Graduate Electrical Engineer — Responsibilities
As a Graduate Electrical Engineer intern, you will:
- Complete technical submittals and operate a submittal system
- Submit technical enquiries via the Request for Information system
- Operate the document control system for drawings
- Develop material schedules and take-offs from drawings
- Track construction progress and update the project schedule
- Verify circuit identification on drawings and develop distribution board schedules
- Develop construction details for site issuance
- Create builders work drawings
- Coordinate the installation of electrical services with other trades
- Survey installations for record drawing preparation
- Collate test packs and track testing installations
- Coordinate and liaise with various departments as required
- Maintain a weekly project photographic diary
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Graduate Electrical Engineer — Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- Ideally a 2:1 Honours Degree / Expected 2:1
- Level 8 or relevant bachelor’s degree
- Good communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Adaptable and solutions-driven
- Able to work in a team environment

- Flexible to travel
