As a Fire Protection Sprinkler Mechanical Supervisor, you will:
- Install various sprinkler systems.
- Plan and execute small to medium sized jobs, interfacing with clients.
- Survey works and coordinate with the design team.
- Travel around the Leinster region as required.
- Liaise and build relationships with clients.
- Drain and refill sprinkler systems.
- Operate fire pumps and related fire alarms.
- Plan and work from sprinkler drawings.
- Apply knowledge of LPC and FM sprinkler rules.
Fire Protection Sprinkler Mechanical Supervisor — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in the installation of various sprinkler systems
- Knowledge of all types of sprinkler systems.
- Competency in draining and refilling sprinkler systems.
- Competency in operating fire pumps and related fire alarms
- Ability to plan and work from sprinkler drawings.
- Knowledge of LPC and FM sprinkler rules.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Full drivers’ licence (optional).
Desirable:
- Safe Pass / manual handling certification
- Experience as a sprinkler pipefitter
- Flexibility to travel
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines.
- National Craft Certificate
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to manage a job to completion / attend white board meetings.
- Flexibility for outside of normal working hours.
- A construction background.
