Electrical Supervisor — Role Overview

As Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee all on-site electrical activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Your expertise will be crucial in managing sub-contractors, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining project schedules.

Electrical Supervisor — Responsibilities

As Electrical Supervisor, you will:

  • Manage site safety in conjunction with the Safety Advisor, including setup, management, and closeout of the safety file.
  • Supervise and inspect work to ensure compliance with standard procedures and electrical assignments.
  • Liaise with Site QA and the Electrical Package Manager on 'Right First Time' installations.
  • Manage all day-to-day on-site operations and ensure activities meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Manage sub-contractor activities, track progress against schedule and manpower levels, and conduct weekly meetings.
  • Manage the snagging system, issuing weekly punch lists as needed.
  • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
  • Assist with the upkeep of redline drawings to develop as-installed drawings.
  • Implement a weekly look-ahead to ensure coordination with other trades.
  • Issue internal weekly progress reports, highlighting progress, and any risks.

Electrical Supervisor — Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A trade background.
  • 5-10 years of experience supervising large installation crews and sub-contractors.
  • A proven record of supervising and managing large installation projects.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Experience in design and build.
  • Good technical knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical systems.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within strict deadlines.
  • Ability to drive a large-scale project.
