Electrical Supervisor — Role Overview
As Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee all on-site electrical activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Your expertise will be crucial in managing sub-contractors, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining project schedules.
Electrical Supervisor — Responsibilities
As Electrical Supervisor, you will:
- Manage site safety in conjunction with the Safety Advisor, including setup, management, and closeout of the safety file.
- Supervise and inspect work to ensure compliance with standard procedures and electrical assignments.
- Liaise with Site QA and the Electrical Package Manager on 'Right First Time' installations.
- Manage all day-to-day on-site operations and ensure activities meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Manage sub-contractor activities, track progress against schedule and manpower levels, and conduct weekly meetings.
- Manage the snagging system, issuing weekly punch lists as needed.
- Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
- Assist with the upkeep of redline drawings to develop as-installed drawings.
- Implement a weekly look-ahead to ensure coordination with other trades.
- Issue internal weekly progress reports, highlighting progress, and any risks.
Electrical Supervisor — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A trade background.
- 5-10 years of experience supervising large installation crews and sub-contractors.
- A proven record of supervising and managing large installation projects.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety.
- Experience in design and build.
- Good technical knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical systems.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well within strict deadlines.
- Ability to drive a large-scale project.
