Electrical Lead — Role Overview
As Electrical Lead, you will manage all aspects of electrical packages on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating with stakeholders and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Electrical Lead — Responsibilities
As Electrical Lead, you will:
- Manage electrical site safety and QA, ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Manage project schedules, track progress, and report on activity targets.
- Manage costs associated with electrical packages, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations for electrical contractors, tracking progress and manpower levels.
- Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, and coordination meetings.
- Close out project items including final accounts, O&M manuals, and safety files.
- Support engineering requirements by managing and liaising with key project stakeholders.
- Review drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with design and IFC specifications.
- Manage the quality needs for all electrical packages, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
- Prepare and manage the scope of work for subcontractors, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
Electrical Lead — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A trade and/or relevant third level qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management.
- Proven record of coordinating and managing large installation projects.
- Experience dealing with Industrial Relations issues.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety.
- Experience in design and build.
- Good technical knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical systems.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well within strict deadlines.
- Ability to drive a large-scale project.
