EHS Advisor — Role Overview
As an EHS Advisor, you will be crucial in ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management systems across diverse construction projects. Your expertise will contribute to a safe and compliant working environment, supporting project success and the well-being of all personnel.
EHS Advisor — Responsibilities
As EHS Advisor, you will:
- Implement and maintain EHS management systems for all projects.
- Ensure adherence to project and company safety management systems.
- Adhere to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation.
- Coordinate the development of task-specific method statements, risk assessments, and permit to work.
- Carry out regular site audits and inspections, document reports, and establish corrective actions.
- Attend site meetings and provide input on EHS risks and trends.
- Provide advice and guidance on all EHS matters to management and employees.
- Ensure project sub-contractors adhere to project EHS policies and procedures.
- Assist with accident investigation reports and ensure timely communication.
- Maintain waste reduction and recycling programs.
EHS Advisor — Ideal Candidate
- Relevant third-level Certificate qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety.
- 3 years minimum site experience.
- Thorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislation.
- Strong communication & computer skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
