Document Controller — Role Overview
As Document Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of project documents and drawings. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining organised and accessible project information.
Document Controller — Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the timely distribution of documents & drawings to project personnel
- Working in accordance with company procedures & guidelines
- Distributing drawing transmittals and submittals to the client
- Maintaining controlled document registers and associated documentation
- Developing and maintaining filing systems
- Performing general administration duties including typing and printing
- Entering data on SAP, running SAP reports and queries
- Liaising with the Scheduler, Safety Manager and Client
- Maintaining up to date Org Charts
- Covering for Time Administration of the Project when required
Document Controller — Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- Strong Administration experience
- Fluent in English
- PC literate with competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and Organisational skills
- Pride in the quality and presentation of work
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience in the construction or engineering industry
- Experience using document management systems: BIM360, ACC, Procore, Asite…
- Proactivity and team player.
