CSA Supervisor — Role Overview

As a CSA Supervisor, you will oversee all civil, structural, and architectural aspects of the project, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and driving progress to meet project deadlines.

CSA Supervisor — Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing site safety in conjunction with the Safety Advisor, including safety file management.
  • Supervising and inspecting work to ensure compliance with procedures and CSA assignments.
  • Liaising with Site QA and the CSA Package Manager on 'Right First Time' installation.
  • Managing costs associated with the CSA team, subcontractors, materials, plant, variations, and valuations.
  • Managing the project schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, engineers, and client requirements.
  • Managing day-to-day on-site operations and subcontractor activities, tracking progress and manpower levels.
  • Managing the snagging system and issuing weekly punch lists.
  • Attending site meetings, project reviews, and handover meetings.
  • Assisting with project close-out, including O&M manuals, punch lists, and safety/QA files.
  • Implementing a weekly look-ahead and issuing internal weekly progress reports.
  • Scheduling material deliveries and maintaining a project photographic diary.

CSA Supervisor — Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • A trade background with 5-10 years of experience supervising large installation crews and subcontractors.
  • Proven record of supervising and managing large installation projects.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety.
  • Good technical knowledge of CSA systems.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within strict deadlines.
  • Ability to drive a large-scale project.

Desirable:

  • Experience in design and build.
