CSA QA/QC Engineer — Role Overview
This role sits at the heart of quality assurance for all Civil, Structural, and Architectural works on a complex data centre build. You will establish the quality framework, drive compliance, and ensure every element of construction meets exacting standards before handover.
CSA QA/QC Engineer — Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC procedures for all Civil, Structural, and Architectural works
• Monitor and inspect CSA works against specifications, drawings, standards, and regulations
• Review and approve method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and subcontractor quality submissions
• Conduct site inspections and audits, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and tracking corrective actions
• Support the CSA Construction Manager and Project Manager in resolving quality issues with technical guidance
• Collaborate with design teams, project engineers, and subcontractors to drive timely close-out of quality matters
• Ensure materials and workmanship are inspected, tested, and documented to specification
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, certifications, and quality documentation
• Update project quality records and contribute to regular performance monitoring and reporting
• Lead project handover activities including completion of quality dossiers, O&M manuals, and final QA/QC documentation
• Champion quality, health, safety, and compliance culture across all CSA works
CSA QA/QC Engineer — Ideal Candidate
Essential:
• Relevant Engineering or Construction degree (Civil, Structural, or Architectural discipline preferred)
• Proven experience as QA/QC Engineer on large-scale construction projects
• Demonstrable experience in data centre, industrial, or technology sector projects
• Strong working knowledge of CSA construction methods, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Track record developing and implementing QA/QC procedures and managing ITPs
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and documentation skills
• Effective communicator able to engage internal teams and subcontractors at all levels
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, technical, deadline-driven environments
