CSA Engineer — Role Overview
This CSA Engineer position sits at the heart of quality assurance and site coordination for a large-scale data centre build. You will safeguard installation standards across civil, structural and architectural packages while driving contractor performance and documentation compliance.
CSA Engineer — Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
• Checking completed works and maintaining rigorous quality control throughout all CSA packages
• Managing finished works against approved benchmarks and coordinating with QA managers to ensure timely contractor documentation submission
• Liaising with subcontractors to track progress against programme and chairing subcontractor progress meetings
• Overseeing site documentation control and record-keeping
• Attending and contributing to Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Coordination meetings, plus Handover Meetings
• Reviewing drawings with the design team and resolving technical issues promptly
• Actively monitoring and snagging contractor works to ensure installation per approved drawings and specifications, achieving zero-defect standards through formal snag list management on approved platforms
CSA Engineer — Ideal Candidate
Essential
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
• 3+ years' experience on large-scale construction projects
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
• Experience in facades and fit-out projects
Desirable
• Previous data centre construction experience
• Familiarity with quality management platforms and digital snag-listing systems
