CSA Engineer — Role Overview
As a CSA Engineer, you will play a key role in managing civil, structural, and architectural aspects of construction projects. You will contribute to site safety, quality assurance, and project scheduling, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
CSA Engineer — Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the management of CSA packages.
- Managing site safety in conjunction with the project manager and safety advisor, including safety file management.
- Managing site QA for CSA works, ensuring a robust system is in place and documenting all facets of the works.
- Assisting with the management of the project schedule in conjunction with the project manager, consulting engineer, and client requirements.
- Reviewing design information issued to ACC or associated platforms.
- Managing day-to-day site operations as outlined by the Project Manager.
- Assisting with the management of sub-contractor activities, tracking progress and manpower levels, and attending weekly meetings.
- Managing the snagging system, ensuring supervisors return punch lists and snags are distributed to subcontractors.
- Issuing direct labor and sub-contractor hours to the time administrator.
- Attending site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and co-ordination meetings, and handover meetings.
- Closing out project items including O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Project Plan, with the support of the site project manager and project team.
- Issuing internal weekly progress reports to the project manager.
- Maintaining a weekly project photographic diary.
CSA Engineer — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An engineering qualification or relevant work experience.
- Good computer skills in Word, Excel, etc.
- A proven record of co-ordinating and managing large projects.
