CSA Engineer — Role Overview
As a CSA Engineer, you will be responsible for the management of civil, structural, and architectural packages, ensuring site safety, quality assurance, and adherence to project schedules. Your contributions will be vital in delivering high-quality construction projects.
CSA Engineer — Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Managing Civil, Structural, and Architectural packages, reporting to the CSA Manager.
- Managing Site Safety in conjunction with the Project Manager and Safety Advisor, including safety file management.
- Managing QA in conjunction with the QA Manager, ensuring subcontractor compliance and performing due diligence.
- Managing Project Schedule in conjunction with the CSA Manager, Project manager, consulting Engineer and Client requirements.
- Reporting on site events with commercial impact to the CSA Manager.
- Assisting with the Management of all design deliverables related to the CSA package, including drawing reviews and construction details.
- Assisting with the management of all costs associated with your package including Our Client civil Team, Sub-contractors, Material deliveries and goods receipting, Plant and Equipment, Variations, Valuations
- Managing all day-to-day site operations, including the CSA site supervision team and site coordination between CSA subcontractors.
- Managing sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels.
- Managing the Our Client “In Progress” snagging system.
- Attending Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings.
- Closing out all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan.
- Issuing weekly reports, including orders placed, materials expected, and labour levels.
- Scheduling material deliveries to correspond with the project schedule and tracking critical deliveries.
- Ensuring Our Client Policies and procedures are followed closely.
- Maintaining a weekly project photographic diary and due diligence on Supervisors diaries and photo records.
- Assisting with the preparation Sub-contract and Supplier Tender Packages in conjunction with Project QS.
- Assisting with the Assessment of Sub-contract and Supplier Tender returns for technical compliance with design intent specification
CSA Engineer — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- An engineering qualification or Construction Management qualification
- 5-10 years relevant experience
- Good Computer skills in word, excel etc.
- Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large projects
