CSA Engineer — Role Overview

You will lead quality assurance activities across civil, structural and architectural works, ensuring zero-defect delivery on a fast-paced data centre build. This position sits at the heart of project execution, coordinating contractors, design teams and QA managers to maintain the highest construction standards.

CSA Engineer — Responsibilities

• Lead quality control activities across civil, structural and architectural works, conducting regular inspections and maintaining standards throughout construction
• Manage contractor quality performance, raising snag lists on approved platforms and driving timely close-out with follow-up walks and reports
• Coordinate with QA managers to ensure all contractor documentation is submitted correctly and on time per the approved QMS
• Chair and attend subcontractor progress meetings, tracking works against programme and resolving field issues
• Participate actively in site meetings, engineering reviews, planning sessions and handover meetings
• Review drawings with the design team and implement effective solutions to construction challenges
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation and quality records
• Ensure all works are installed per approved drawings and specifications, achieving zero-defect targets

CSA Engineer — Ideal Candidate

Essential:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
• 3+ years' experience on large-scale construction projects
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and defect prevention
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with contractors and design teams

Desirable:
• Previous data centre construction experience
• Familiarity with QA documentation platforms and digital snagging tools
