CSA Engineer — Role Overview
This CSA Engineer position places you at the heart of quality assurance for a large-scale data centre build. You will lead from the front—monitoring contractor performance, driving zero-defect standards, and ensuring seamless coordination between site teams, subcontractors, and design stakeholders.
CSA Engineer — Responsibilities
• Monitor and snag contractor works against approved drawings and specifications, ensuring highest quality standards and zero defects
• Raise snag lists on approved platforms, conduct follow-up walks, and issue close-out reports per QMS requirements
• Coordinate with QA managers to ensure contractor documentation is submitted accurately and on time
• Chair and track progress in subcontractor meetings, holding partners accountable to programme milestones
• Attend and contribute to Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, and lookahead planning sessions
• Review drawings with the design team and resolve technical issues proactively
• Manage site documentation and maintain organised quality records throughout project lifecycle
• Check completed works and enforce quality control benchmarks at every stage
CSA Engineer — Ideal Candidate
Essential
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 3+ years' experience on large-scale construction projects
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and documentation protocols
Desirable
• Previous data centre construction experience
