CSA Construction Manager — Role Overview
This is a hands-on leadership position driving delivery of complex CSA work packages on a major data centre development. You will direct a multi-disciplinary team through design coordination, procurement, installation and close-out while maintaining rigorous standards across safety, quality and programme.
CSA Construction Manager — Responsibilities
• Direct and coordinate all Civil, Structural and Architectural work packages from procurement through to handover
• Lead, mentor and manage the CSA team including supervisors, engineers and package managers to achieve programme milestones
• Own site safety culture in partnership with Project Manager and Safety Team, ensuring QHSE standards are embedded across all operations
• Develop project delivery strategy and support commercial team in creating Scope of Work documents and subcontract packages
• Review client design against local and international standards, identifying discrepancies and leading resolution while protecting contractual position
• Establish and maintain detailed QA/QC site plans ensuring full project compliance
• Chair weekly progress meetings with CSA supply chain members, tracking progress, resource levels and documentation
• Manage project schedule in conjunction with Planning team, Project Managers and Sub-Contractors including 4 and 12-week look-ahead forecasts
• Liaise with design teams to prioritise and align construction information with programme requirements
• Attend and contribute to Site Meetings, Design Reviews, Planning Coordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
• Manage project close-out including Punch List, Safety File, QA File and Project Plan completion
• Issue daily and weekly reports and support commercial meetings to capture and manage client variations
• Review drawings, setting-out information and coordinate builders works with MEP services
CSA Construction Manager — Ideal Candidate
Essential:
• Relevant Construction degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 7 years' CSA construction site experience with proven track record managing and completing CSA work packages
• Demonstrable experience delivering large-scale projects on fast-track programmes
• Strong scheduling, programming and sequencing capability including 4 and 12-week look-ahead forecasts
• Proven ability to manage internal construction teams and maintain overview of entire project whilst handling technical detail
• Methodical approach with strong problem-solving skills to resolve design and site challenges
Desirable:
• Data centre or mission-critical facility experience
• International project exposure and familiarity with European construction standards
