Commissioning Engineer — Role Overview
This Commissioning Engineer role is vital to the successful delivery of large-scale industrial and mission-critical projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation and commissioning of LV systems, contributing to project milestones and maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Commissioning Engineer — Responsibilities
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will:
- Oversee LV installations and commissioning processes.
- Execute commissioning steps using the Automated Commissioning Management System (ACMS).
- Monitor and update daily analysis reports and monthly schedules.
- Manage project scope, construction progress, resources, and critical path activities.
- Produce weekly look-ahead schedules.
- Develop baseline schedules encompassing engineering, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure adherence to stringent safety and quality standards.
- Generate comprehensive Testing & Commissioning documentation.
- Participate in and coordinate weekly meetings with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Commissioning Engineer — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in LV installations and terminations, MSB, auxiliary switchboards, secondary injections, EPMS systems, and related commissioning activities.
- Proven experience on large-scale industrial and mission-critical projects.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and mentor others.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Familiarity with MSFT Office and MSFT Project / Primavera planning software.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
