As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing project timelines, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of cutting-edge construction solutions.
Commissioning Engineer — Responsibilities
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will:
- Monitor and update daily analysis reports and monthly schedules.
- Take responsibility for progress and delay analysis reports.
- Manage project scope, construction progress, resources, critical path, and milestone activities.
- Produce weekly look-ahead schedules.
- Create baseline schedules composed of Engineering, Construction, Testing, and Commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Produce Testing & Commissioning documents.
- Attend and coordinate weekly meetings with the client, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Commissioning Engineer — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project planning skills
- Ability to lead, guide, and mentor others
- Ability to work as part of a team & work on own initiative
- Proficiency in the use of CAD and Database systems related to Engineering functions
- Familiarity with Project / Primavera planning software
- Excellent negotiation & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
