BIM Lead — Role Overview
As BIM Lead, you will provide leadership and direction to the BIM team, ensuring project deliverables are met and workflows are optimized. You'll play a key role in driving BIM strategy and innovation across projects.
BIM Lead — Responsibilities
As BIM Lead, you will:
- Provide project leadership and direction to the BIM team.
- Manage BIM personnel, delegating and managing workloads.
- Mentor and guide the BIM project team.
- Ensure BIM deliverables are in place at project commencement.
- Provide weekly project reports, highlighting status, issues, and plans.
- Interface with the client as required.
- Drive the BIM team strategy and plans across the project.
- Oversee production of 3D construction models from base information.
- Manage clash detection and resolution.
- Develop models and reports in line with scheduling requirements.
BIM Lead — Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years’ experience as a BIM Lead
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
